When you think of the Catholic Church, what comes to mind?
The Vatican, the Pope, Nuns, Priests, Rome? It dawned on me not so very long
ago, that when people say they are a Christian, the meaning could be almost
anything, and have nothing to do with Christ.
The reason I bring this point up is, my hearts desire is to see the Body
of Christ united, strong, and economically empowered, and ministry's funded,
mission work done and the Gospel of Jesus Christ preached to all the ends of
the earth.

| I know, but they are soooo cute!!! |
But talk about giving your tithes, (10% of your earnings),
and all of a sudden you're broke! Wouldn't it be nice if just suppose it was
the other way around? Outreach ministry operations, mission trips, schools,
shelters, counseling centers, all focused on sharing the truth of God's word,
encouraging the broken hearted, ministering to the soul and spirit were
thriving in abundance, and the retailers, and merchants got the leftovers!
When you said you were a Christian, immediately it would
bring to mind the loving kindness of Jesus Christ, and His sacrificial death
and resurrection, and the salvation that comes to all who believe. There would be no doubt that you were
associated with more than just another religion, but a relationship, a
lifestyle, built on a foundation of love, peace, and joy! Now that’s branding at its best!

I know BUT, they are sooooooooooooo Nice. Thank so much for the insight, I will try do right by my self and God.
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are cute, and I think what you're saying is a good point. As a Christian, I should want to do more for the kingdom, but I guess, I keep thinking the pastor is getting the money, look at those mega churches with the planes, nice cars, and clothes, what about that?
